What about now, What about today What if your making me all that I was meant to be
----- It had been a long day. She had spent most of it running and the rest of it trying to hunt and find a place to stay. She was once again forced out of her home because some vampires thought it was fun to cause problems. Sighing, she ran a hand through her hair and slowed down. Looking around the area, she couldn't see much. It was mostly trees. Biting her lower lip, she stood there a moment before taking off through the woods once more. It wasn't long before she had gotten to the edge of the woods and saw a small town. It wasn't much but it seemed nice. Walking at a human pace, she made her way through the town, just looking around at the different shops before turning back and continuing her run through the woods.
----- A
rtemis was sweet and kind. Shy and quiet, never saying much. Some of the other vampires found her odd. One, because she was alone and never bother to find another group of vampires to stick with. Two, because she didn't talk much and three, they just...never bothered to get to know her. Artemis never cared though. She didn't mind being on her own. What she didn't like was the constant moving around and always having to find a new place to live. She was hoping that now that she was in Forks that she would be able to stay for longer than two weeks. It wasn't long before she had found herself in a little meadow and stopped, looking around. It was beautiful and looked as though no one knew about it. - ---- Tossing her bag to the ground, Artemis closed her eyes and just stood there in the middle. She didn't have much when it came to things she owned. Two, maybe three outfits. A few books that she enjoyed reading, her ipod and so on. Just...little things. She moved too much to keep everything that she had once had. Shaking the thought from her head, Artemis opened her eyes and dug through her bag a little. Pulling out a set of ballet shoes, clothes, a brush and so on until she found the book that she had been looking for. Smiling, she tossed everything back into her bag and turned, laying in the middle of the meadow and opening her book to read. ----- Tt had been only half an hour since she had gotten to that little meadow and she heard something in the woods. Most likely, just a deer or some kind of animal but Artemis got the feeling that it wasn't just an animal. Sitting up, she closed her book and then stood, looking around the area and listening closely. Who's there? She said as she narrowed her eyes and continued to look around until she spotted a figure in the distance. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - status: finished tagged: open word count: Umm...a lot? lol outfit: coming soon banner to: -- -- template to: KARI BEAR !? of caution 2.0 notes: meh..its okay.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

A little hunting was called for on Edward's part, he had let himself get too thirsty recently, and it was showing in his character. Edward was the furthest thing from himself, and he did not like that. Granted loosing his daughter wasn’t the best way to start out yet there seemed nothing he could do, yet now ge had been crabbier than ever and that started to irk him. His eyes had become dark brown, close to black in the right light. Edward tried not to be hypocritical, and if he did not hunt he knew that even with his will power which was at an all time low, accidents could still happen and for him to actually bite a human because he had not done the one thing that could avoid it, was well not great. He could already see Carlisle’s disapproving face and the hundred and one reasons why Rosalie wouldn’t want to move again. All things he wanted to avoid at all costs.
Hunting most of that afternoon, and catching nothing more than a couple of deer Edward found his thirst satisfied for a while. It was enough for him at least to get his eyes back to their previous golden state he thought as he finished up the last of his meal. He sighed in a slight relief, at least he could now not be fearful of drinking or even biting another human, at least for a short while. Edward had tried his best around humans and he had strayed too many times, he knew that he couldn’t keep breaking the very diet that had solved as many a problem as it caused. And to disappoint family, it really wasn’t on his agenda.
Between school and looking for Nessie, he hardly got the chance to hunt and he had pushed himself a little too far with the amount of time between hunts. Edward had to hold his tongue a few times, with class mates and certain thoughts about their family or Bella. Thoughts that on a normal day would have been shrugged off with out thought. Edward had taken a day to hunt and possibly go again the next day depending on what else he found, he thought as he began to walk slowly along a path he had so hurriedly raced along before hand.
Humans didn’t often stray towards the meadow, it was that fact which provided a semi haven for those who didn’t want to be found or just time to ones self. Edward didn’t feel the need to keep quite, if there was a human he was fast enough to dodge their view, and even if they caught a glimpse no one would actually believe their eyes. Something he counted on more than he really should, but with his mood and the fact he was about to blow up on people he really shouldn’t, getting out of the way of humans seemed the best idea he could have had. He picked up his pace from a slow walk, into a run as he tore by trees and then suddenly appeared by several other trees.
His grey sweater, and black pants, had a few snags in them, he wore for his trip to the meadow, certainly not his best clothes, but none the less Edward did not like the fact he had been slightly careless. Certainly he could not wear them again for anything but hunting, though the thought did not phase him for long as he smiled to himself. Doubtless he’d hear from Alice about style, yet who wanted to wear Armarni suits hunting? He looked directly up into the sky, wondering what the next few days would hold as he heard the voice.
Had he been so careless as to stray towards humans, he wondered pausing before he answered. He stood at the edge of the meadow looking towards a girl who was sitting in the middle of the meadow. “Me” He said before he wanted to kick himself. Very intelligent answer Edward… you should really get an Oscar for that! He mused before stepping a little closer. “I didn’t know anyone was here… Sorry for disturbing you” He said flashing a quick smile. “Im Edward, and you would be?” He asked politely wondering if he was about to find trouble.
-OOC/ Hope you dont mind...-
