Artemis is a very sweet girl. She loves to just have fun. At times she can be very stubborn and defensive about certain topics. She doesn't mean too but some things, even after so many years, just bother her. Normally though, she is a very sweet and loving person. She is bubbly and usually always smiling. Another thing about Art is that sometimes she just gets lost in her thoughts. She can been sitting there playing her piano and then next thing, just staring out the window with her hands just resting on the keys. Daydreaming in other words.
That happens a lot to her. Thinking about 'what if's..' and just tons of other things. She tries to be funny though, she really isn't all that funny. All in all, Artemis is a good hearted and sweet girl. All she wants is to find a place to call her own and to be able to stay there for more than a few weeks.

The day that she found out her parents had died. It was years later after she had been changed but it still hurt.
SUMMER TIME IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN::
Artemis grew up almost two hundred years ago. Her parents had married one another and though they didn't really love one another, they did care for one another. That for them was enough and over the years they had learned to love one another. It wasn't until three years after their marriage that they had their daughter Artemis. She was the only child they had ever had, deciding that one was more than enough for them. They just wanted to have a small family.
It wasn't until Artemis had moved out at the age of twenty-one. It had only been two weeks and something terrible had happened to her. She had just been sitting inside her home, her fiance off at work when it happened. A man had broken into her house and next thing she knew, she woke up three days later off somewhere. She didn't know where. All she knew was that for those three days she had been in pain throughout her entire body. It had taken her only an hour to relize she wasn't the same person when she had gone and killed someone because of the burning in her throat.
It took her almost a year to come to terms that she was a vampire. Five years later, when she would have been twenty-five, she saw in the paper that two people had been killed only to look at the picture to see that it was her parents. She had been heartbroken when she saw that. Her fiance had moved on and was married to someone that he knew from around the small town. It was then that she had spent her years traveling around. It seemed though, that no matter where she went, something bad would happen.
Someone would die or a group of vampires would come and just cause problems for her so that she would have to move. It took her over two hundred years for her to end up in a small town named Forks where she has been for almost a month. It became her base when she needed a place to come back to. She would go around, traveling and what not and when she got bored or tired, she would just return to Forks. She wasn't sure if she considered it to be home but she did like it there.
The people there were nice and she liked that. Yeah, it was small but it kind of reminded her of her own hometown. That was the biggest reason she kept coming back. She was trying to hold onto some part of her human side. Most of it was gone. She could barely remember the names of her parents or any of her family or anything that had happened so long ago. All she had were her pictures. Either way, She has made Forks her new home and she loves it.
