MAKE IT MORE INTERESTING: Leah is a foreign beauty. She has an exotic look from the copper color of her skin to the shape of her eyes. Her hair used to be long and flowing but since she began changing she keeps it cut to a pixish length. She used to be on the short side and very thin but with the transformation she gained four inches and fifteen pounds. She is now rather tall and very muscular but still lean.
As a wolf Leah is smaller then the males but just as fast. She is a dark gray with one black foot.

Leah comes off as cold, annoying and just mean. But she really isn't any of those things. She lost nearly everything when she became a werewolf. She hates it. She's cold because the only person she was ever intimate with left her. She's annoying because it's easier than being open about her feelings and wants. And she can seem mean because pointing out others flaws and pain turns the attention away from her own pain.
She really just wants to be the girl she used to be. When her dad was alive, when she had friends that weren't part of the crazy world she belong to now and when she was madly in love with Sam. Somehow she is very good at keeping those thoughts away so her pack only catches glimpses of it all but she knows they all know deep inside. She hates this life and hopes to leave it as soon as possible.

FULL LENGTH HISTORY:
Leah was any other girl on the rez. She grew up with loving parents though she was always concerned that they seemed to pay closer attention to her brother then her. She'd find out later it's because they expected him to change, not her. Emily Young was the closest thing Leah had to a sister and loved her as though she was one. When Leah was 15 she began going out with Sam. They fell in love and she believed she'd end up marrying him.
But that's when everything changed. Sam began acting weird and wasn't around for days at a time. All the elders kept telling her to leave him be and he'd come back to her but when he finally did he was different. He still loved her so she ignored her ominous feeling. When her cousin Emily came up for a visit Sam imprinted on her, not Leah. Leah was devastated and at the time did not understand how or why he would leave her so cruelly for her cousin. Her best friend.
When Leah first changed it happened in front of her dad Henry Clearwater. Henry died of a heartattack from the surprise and Leah never forgave herself. Next she lost nearly all of her friends, she couldn't bare being around them with a secret like hers. And to top it all off she had to join Sam's pack where she could hear and feel the love he had for Emily and the pity he held for Leah. Leah couldn't bare it and became so bitter her thoughts annoyed and plagued the rest of the pack.
When the chance arose she decided to follow Seth into Jacob's pack. One, she got to be rid of Sam's rule and thoughts. Two she wanted to protect her brother. And three, despite the natural hatred she held for all vampires, she was kinda curious about the Cullens.

"Damn" The curse was quick and barely a finished thought when it escaped her lips. Emma dropped the pencil that had so ungratefully broken it's lead a second time. Pushing her chair away from the dark cherry wood desk the brunette inhaled deeply trying to regain some composure. How difficult could it really be to get four pages of words down on paper. Her daily limit now a days was six written pages for her story and today was not the first day that giving up had crossed her mind.
But giving up wasn't an option to the young writer. The plot was in her head, consuming her day job, her social and love life and yet it never ceased to wisp away right as she began harnessing it down.
While Emma's mental breakdown happened the door to her loft swung open and shut and slow and precise footsteps had neared her, but her head was so far elsewhere she hadn't noticed them. "Jeez Em, it looks like a hurricane struck." Came a husky and familiar voice. The sound of it though made Emma's head snap up in surprise. "Jake!" She exclaimed. "I thought you weren't dropping by till eight." Emma reached a hand to her neck, the sudden movement had strained something.
"It's eight thirty." Jake said simply, no complaint or anger in the response.
