So i guess you could say that he can read minds like Edward Cullen, but instead of hearing the stream of thought, Sebastian hears the soul of a person and understands them on a basis that none other can.

MIRROR MIRROR:: Has short, wavy brown hair with natural blond highlights. His eyes are naturally a deep crimson due to his vampire heritage. Valmont likes to leave some light stubble framing his face, it only adds to his already god like good looks.

Sebastian Is a cruel, calculating and manipulating vampire who relishes in causing pain and misery to others. When he hunts he does not just attack and drain. He seduces his prey into trusting and loving him, then, once they have become completely devoted to him, he drains them dry. Why bother you may ask? Simply for the challenge. Living as long as he has, simply feeding lost all it's pleasure to him. Life is boring and mundane so he spices it up by tackling harder and harder challenges. He dreams of eventually finding the one who his charms do not work on. He both hopes and fears this day. Hopes because it will be his greatest challenge yet, but fears because it would mean he has failed, and Sebastian Valmont never fails!
When he is not seducing unsuspecting humans into giving themselves to him, he is manipulating the blood bags into destroying their own lives. Many he has managed to drive to complete devastation and confused them to such an extent that they believe that he is the only person left in their world who they can trust and rely on. Usually Sebastian leaves the poor sap at this point to fester in depression. Sometimes though he'll feed off them if they are attractive. And at other times he has been known to even drive the poor things into suicide, telling them it is the only option left for them.
Sebastian hates to be bored. He is sadistic and cruel. However his long years have allowed him to become an expert at hiding his devious intentions. Instead of triggering a humans 'run and hide' instincts when he approaches them, every part of him oozes appeal. His good looks draw them in on a more basic level, his charming personality and stoic coolness on another.
As a bonus of his ability to take advantage of people, Sebastian has come to learn many secrets people would not want known. This is only fuel for his manipulation games. He knows many of the best kept secrets in the world. and even the Volturi are weary of speaking around him.

When Sebastian was 13 he took vengeance on the man, killing him in his sleep with the same stick he had used to beat Seb's mother to death. Sebastian worked on a nearby farm until he was turned.
