Seth had been running through the forest all day on the perimeter run. Finally, exhausted by all the days hard work, he decided that he wanted to go to the beach. So, he went home and changed into some trunks before heading over to the beach in human form. Of course, he was a little bit sweaty from all the running he had done that day, but the water would feel good.
After a couple minutes of running from his house to the beach, he was finally at the beach. It was just the right time, too. As soon as she got there, the sun started peeking out. Letting out a little whoop, he ran into the water and dove under one of the waves that would of knocked him over. When he got back up, he saw that the sun was finally out of the clouds. This was a rare chance in La Push since just like Forks, it was one of the rainiest places in the world.
After a couple minutes, he got out of the water and went to go lay on the beach. At first he just sat, but after a couple minutes he laid down and closed his eyes. He could still see the outline of the sun through his eyelids. Then, the sun was blocked. At first he thought it was the clouds, but when he opened his eyes he saw a shape above him. He could tell its was human, but he didn't know if it was a girl or boy for all he could see was the outline of the head. Not meaning to sound rude, he said, "Hey, you want to move a couple steps to the right?"

"Not particularly." Jake said with a shrug then grinned. He stretched languidly the plopped down on the sand next to Seth.
With a groan on pleasure Jake tucked his arms under his head and let his shirtless body absorb and enjoy the rare sunshine. Whilst it had been Seth's turn to do the perimeter run, Jake had been enjoying the day over at the Cullens house playing with Nessy. Although it wasn't as physically tiring, it was mentally tiring. That girl is like a non-stop energy rocket! She just goes and goes and goes...
Jake closed his eyes and relished in the warmth of the sun.
"So Mr Mc-boardshorts, anything interesting happen to you today, aside from the obviously trilling and exciting perimeter run?" Jake asked jokingly without opening his eyes. He knew full well that Seth was probably dead tired and the most interesting thing he'd probably done today was see a funny looking tree. But that made poking fun at him just that much more easier. And everyone knew, Jake was all about the fun.

Em shoved her hands in her pockets as she explored La Push. She hadn't been here yet but she quite liked it. It was a lot different from Forks which was a good thing. It was hard to have fun knowing that she snuck out. She jumped at every noise because she assumed it was her dad.
Em saw two hot boys talking to each others. Two hot native guys. There was no way she could pass this up, even if the boys just wanted to be friends. Em closed the distance between them and bumped into their conversation.
"Hey..." she grinned sitting cross legged before them.

Jacob opened one eye and glanced around for the source of the new and oddly female voice that had just greeted him. Most kids stayed clear of Jacob and the other reservation boys. Mainly because majority of the native population of La Push were now wolfy and the rest of the people thought that the native kids had formed something of a massive cult. It had been ages since he had met a new human from the town.
Jake's head lifted up a bit in success when he spotted the grinning girl sitting before him.
"Hey right back at cha." He said flashing his trademark smile at the girl as he propped himself up on his elbows.
"I haven't seen you around much and i know most people around here. You new or something?" He asked, cocking his head slightly to the right. Seems like this day just kept getting better and better. First he got to see Nessy, always a plus. Then the sun made a rare appearance, brilliant. Now this new girl had come and talked to him and Seth, shame for her they were both imprinted, but that didn't mean Jake couldn't have the rare chance to make some human friends.
"And what would be the name of the gorgeous lady that has the guts to come speak to such amazingly hot men?" Jake asked with a smug grin before winking at the girl to let her know he was joking, and not just some up himself jerk.

Em nodded at the boy and sighed.
"Yes, I'm new. I don't even live on the rez. I live down in Forks." she groaned.
Em wished she could live up here. Everything seemed much more exciting up here. Waves, beaches, bonfires, and cliff diving! That sounded like a riot compared to Forks recreational activities. Libraries, small town cafes, school sport events, and the occasional movie. None of that tickled Em's fancy. Em let out a long sigh then laughed as the boy described him and his friend as amazingly hot men. It wasn't a lie but it was funny that he knew it.
"Someone sure thinks a lot of himself." giggled Em. "I'm Em. Just Em."
Em looked from one boy to the other and waited on an introduction from one of them.
"Do the amazingly hot men have names? Runs With Deer and Pale Face Killer, perhaps?" she grinned.

Seth had been about to answer to Jake when a girl came and sat in front to the two of them. "Well, I did happen to see a really odd-looking tree." He said with a smile. He knew that that was what Jake had possibly been thinking. Then, he turned back to the girl. She looked to be really nice. Plus, she was kind of cute. Too bad that both Seth and Jake were taken. Seth had just found out not that long ago, too.
When Jake asked the girl what her name was and if she was new here. Seth just sat and listened. He smirked when Jake said the two hot guys thing. Well, they both were really good-looking. According to Seth's imprintee, he was hot. But, Seth didn't know what Nessie thought of Jake. Though, to him he bet she would think the same thing about Jake as Seth's did about him. Once she told them her name, he put a smile on. Then, when she said the thing about Runs with deer or Pale face killer, he looked at Jake and laughed. "She almost has it right." Seth said in a super low voice.
Seth then looked back at Em. "I am Seth and this guy is Jake." He said nudging Jake with his elbow. Seth's hair was just the right length right now. It wasn't long like it had been but it wasn't short. It looked almost like a skater dudes hair. Seth then said, "We are both from La Push. I have lived here my whole life." He said this with a smile on his face.
