“And It Starts Sometime Around Midnight, Or At Least That's When You Lose Yourself For A Minute Or Two"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cynthia walked slowly through the chill and pulled her cloak tightly around her and walked deeper into the dark forest, her head whipping from side to side unable to get rid of that feeling that someone was watching her through the gloom. To her one of the greatest weaknesses of vampirism was the inability to sleep, closely followed by the need to hunt. It was nearing midnight and Cynthia had reverted to one of her old habits of just wandering, as she had nothing else to do. Oh how she wished she had perished that night with her parents. She stopped so suddenly that if someone was to be walking behind her they would have crashed straight into her without noticing until they had done so. Cynthia looked to her left and saw an Elk not far away, she put a hand over her mouth and nose to block out the scent of its blood and grimaced. She kept walking at swift vampire speed trying to escape any scent of blood.

Jacob was out on patrol when he came across a scent he hadn't smelt before. his lip curled back and with a growl he speed off along the trail.
the brother he was patrolling with (let's say it's Seth) was on the other side of the forest. Jake sent him a message that he had found the scent trail of a vampire. a vampire who he didn't know.
Seth worriedly made to come after Jacob but Jake denied him, instead charging the boy to get the rest of the pack alerted. quickly Seth ran back to the reservation to get back up. moments later his mind vanished from the collective and Jacob was alone.
Jake slowed as the scent trail got fresher. silently he stalked through the trees, keeping down wind of the vampire. his eyes narrowed as he spied her through the trees. however one large furry eyebrow rose when he saw her cover her nose and mouth with her hand and walk away from the elk near her with a look of disgust. obviously this girl had no intention of becoming a vegetarian any time soon.
Jake made to move forward and speak to the girl when he remembered he was still in wolf form. rolling his eyes he transformed back into his human self and quickly pulled on his shorts.
"your kind is not welcome here. leave now bloodsucker or die." he commanded coldly, stepping into the vampires view.

Cynthia spun round to face the new commer and stepped back a few paces when she found her self face-to-face with a werewolf. Cynthia pulled down her hood and watched sliently as he transformed back to his human form and pulled on some clothing. Cynithia did not want to cause a fight, she had heard about the treaty between the local vampires and the werewolves of La Push and she did not want to disturb that relationship, she just wanted to keep to herself.
Cynthia grimaced at the scent of wolf, she covered her nose and mouth for the second time thisafternoon, although it had been two different types of scent. "You may have some prejudices against vampires but you must know we didn't chose this pup" Cynthia hissed.

Jacob stood as still and rigid as a vampire for a few moments as he considered what the vampire had said. she wasn't like the other vampires he had met before. Laurent, Victoria, the Volturi... they all loved to insult Jake and his pack brothers, and they never, never felt sad about their lot in life... or unlife... whatever. the point was this vamp was different, she seemed more like Edward did when he first met Bella. she feels the overwhelming urge to kill, but doesn't want to. the question was, did this girl have enough strength of will to refrain from killing humans, or would she snap and revert to her natural bloodsucker ways?
Jake's eyebrows furrowed a bit. even if this girl was feeling depressed about being a living statue he couldn't take the chance of leaving her out here. she had to go.
Jake inclined his head at the girl before speaking.
"i am aware you did not choose this, however you feed on humans and i cannot allow that. leave this land now. this is your final warning." he said coldly, his eyes like steel.

"I do not feed." she said not meeting his gaze. "I havn't fed at all in the months I have lived in Forks. I hate feeding. The blood, I hate the smell and tase of all blood." She said. Cynthia was confused by her own feelings and she didn't expect the wolf boy to understand. She knew there was something about her that was different. Her repultion of blood, her powers. She had of course heard of vampires having extra powers but she knew it was extreamly rear.

Jake's eyebrows rose before he could regain his illusion of a deadly killer. she didn't feed?! no wonder the girl was so affected by the scent of the dear. he thought in astonishment to himself.
Jake composed himself however and cocked his head at the girl.
if you have not fed then that only makes you more dangerous. he said, his voice warmer than before, but still harsh and demanded obedience.
Jake pondered his options. he could easily drive this vamp from forks and La Push, but then she may go and attack somewhere else. she said she'd given up blood, and from the color of her eyes he could tell she hadn't fed in a long time, but this meant she could snap and go on a killing frenzy at any time. Jake could take her to Dr Cullen and ask his advice. there was always the possibility the girl could be turned to the "vegetarian" way. but if all blood repulsed her.... the only way Jake could think of to help the girl would be similar to how he had helped Leah get over eating animals in wolf form. but Jake had a feeling telling this vamp to embrace her inner vamp would be a bad idea....
Jake sighed and ran his hand through his shaggy hair.
"you'd better come with me." he said cryptically and motioned for the vamp to follow him.
he'd head for the Cullen house. at least there there were vampires who could help this girl. he'd get Nessie out before hand though.

"I guess your right, but I am trying, I really am" Cynthia said looking down at the ground. "I hate feeding, I feel like I've lost my humanity when I kill." She said with a sigh. "Where are we going?" Cynthia said following the boy carefully, unsure if this was really a good idea to follow a werewolf. Cyntha sighed, she was just so tyred all the time. Ofcourse she wasn't phisically tyred because vampires didn't need to sleep, but she was metally exaused; she was tyred of life. Sorry not much muse

Jacob winced a bit as the vampire explained why she didn't feed. that was exactly why the Cullens didn't feed. he was definetly doing the right thing taking her to the Cullens... he just regretted that there may be another blood-lusting vampire in Forks he would have to keep an eye on. "ever heard of the Cullens? they might be able to help you." he said simply and stepped behind a tree to quickly tug his shorts off and transform into wolf form. it was just plain silly that they should walk at human pace when they could run and be there in minutes. Jake padded out from behind the tree and looked at the sad vampire girl. he nodded his big shaggy head in the direction she should head and padded off ahead of her. hopefully she understood he meant she should follow him. ((hmm, short and i said head way to many times in one sentence do you want to post here then continue at the cullen house?))

"I've only been in Forks a few weeks but when I have been in other parts of the world I have heard whispers... rumors of a clan of 'vegetarian' vampires known as the Cullen's. They took on the Volturi a few years back?" Cynthia asked, wondering if this was the same clan, wondering if this werewolf was going to try to turn her into a 'vegetarian' too. Maybe he was right, maybe they could help her.
Cynthia looked away allowing the werewolf to change back so they could both run at their own super-natural speed. The boy re-appeared in wolf form and nodded his head into the trees and Cynthia took this to mean she should follow him in that direction. "Okay I'm following" she said speeking her thoughts outloud.
((Okay, do you want to start the thread in the Cullen house?))
